Québec camping on the Municipality of the Îles de la Madeleine is an experience that is unforgettable. The archipelago, as it is sometimes called is comprised of about a dozen islands, six of which are interconnected by a series of long, thin, sand dunes. This set of islands is located in the Gulf of St. Lawrence, about 215 km from the Gaspé Peninsula, 95 km from Cape Breton Island and, 105 km from Prince Edward Island. You can travel to the islands by boat, air or if you wish to take your own vehicle you can take the ferry from Prince Edward Island, which is approximately a 5 hour trip. Once you arrive on the islands you can enjoy the hospitality of a marvelous Québec campground on the islands. From your base camp you can enjoy fishing, hiking, kayaking and swimming. Nunavik is Québec’s artic region. This area is not accessible via roads. If you wish to experience this pristine wilderness there are daily flights into Nunavik from Montreal, weather permitting.
