Ok I de-winterized today. I noticed my water pump is acting funny. when i turn the water on the pump goes on-good. if i turn the water real low the pump cycles on and off real quick kinda like stuttering. Isnt it suppose to cycle on then off then on again when pressure drops to low. any ideas.

I think that if you leave the faucet on the pressure does not get a chance to build up and shut the pump off. Also, you may have air in the lines. Open all the faucets (pump on) and let run for a few seconds and then shut the faucet closest to the pump off first and then work out to the last faucet on the line. Hope this helps.

Sounds like you still have air in lines.

You may be right about the air. I'll finish up tomorrow and give it a try. Thanks so much.

You might want to check the inline cartridge filter (if your setup has one). My pump was doing exactly as you described, and it turned out to be a plugged filter. Even though the filter looked clean, it was restricting the flow too much. Couldn't hurt to check !

We had to replace our filter on our old Terry Resort also. It didn't look bad but it took care of the problem.

The pump action sounds like my trailer before I put an accumlator in line. It is a small air bag in a cylinder. It applies additional pressure to to water allowing the pump to run for a half a minute or minute building up pressure and then shutting off.
My reason for commenting on the accumlator is as follows. If you have one in your trailer and did not know it, it may have lost pressure causing the pump to act as if it is not there. I suggest you follow your lines from the pump and see if the bottle is in line. It should be close to the pump. If you do not have one then what you describe for a dribble is normal and an accumlator will fix it. I found it in the rv catalogs. It was a simple installation.
Good luck.
