Toolboxes for Tow Vehicles

Durability and Accessibility
Highway Products toolboxes are constructed from tough, thick, weather–resistant, marine–grade 1/10–inch and 1/8–inch aluminum. They are all welded without use of pop rivets in the shell construction. Piano–style hinges are used. The all–aluminum – not plastic – tray with movable dividers lifts out of the toolbox for easy access. Automotive weather stripping protects contents from the elements. Toolboxes are available with a diamond plate finish, and the larger box can be ordered in Silverback polished aluminum.
The company says, "These truck boxes have been tested under the most challenging on– and off–road conditions in America." Oh yes, they are made in the U.S. All pickup toolboxes are covered by a lifetime limited warranty.
Highway products also offers The Gorilla Slide 2000–XT cargo tray. The sliding tray eliminates the need to crawl into the back of a pickup with a shell or bed cover, or bend over the tailgate or side rails to reach something.
The Gorilla Slide is a heavy–duty, all–aluminum slide–out cargo tray that can handle up to 2,000 pounds, if evenly distributed. The tray glides on sealed roller bearings on Highway Products' galvanized steel Tee–Bone track system. It safely locks into position with the dual Stab Lock mechanism, using six locking points at 10–inch increments. The tray itself is manufactured from heavy–gauge 1/8–inch aluminum and comes with a five–year warranty. Besides pickups, the Gorilla Slide works great in vans, motorhomes and even the Avalanche or Escalade EXT. Installation does not require any drilling.
