Back in April of 07 Forum Member pritch272 was kind enough to share with us his idea for storing his sewer hose. Gladly I printed out his post,pictures and all saying I'm gonna do that.Well it's now March of 08 and I've finally done it. Pritch272 mounted his under the back bumper. Since I don't have a back bumper it had to be mounted differently.
Like pritch 272's post helped me. Maybe this will help someone else.
Using a 4.75" X 4.75" X 98" PVC fence post cover and 2-1" X 1" angle iron J brackets that are screwed onto the PVC from the bottom up at the outside corners.
The J brackets are then bolted to a frame cross member.
End caps are bungee corded.
Then wood blocks are made to fit in a PVC rain gutter to hold hose and attachment in place. An old drawer pull on the end to pull out the gutter.
Ready to go.

C.B. that is a VERY COOL idea. I have printed the pics and plan to get started on my new project tomorrow. Thank you for sharing and for the detailed pictures. Hope to see ya down the road sometime. Tim

Hey, cool. I love the idea of the rain gutter 'drawer' instead of just stuffing the hose into the tubing. Well, it's off to Lowe's I go.

Total for both pieces of vinyl is less than $27, plus the end caps.
Great idea. I'm definitely rethinking my 6" PVC.

Won't drain holes be needed somewhere? Theres gonna be some liquid drip/weep out of the hose when its stored, or at least there is in my experience.
Maybe slightly tilt one end down.
Super idea though!

FWIW, most of the time I leave the hose in the gutter, and just place the gutter as needed when connecting the hose ends. The gutter keeps the hose straight when dumping. I have a few pieces of gutter, so I can use one of an appropriate length for the specific site. When done, all I need to do is to carry the gutter with the hose inside and slide back into the carrier. The only thing I haven't done that I'd like to do, is to fashion a hanger of some sort to raise the end of the gutter where it connects to the dump connection on the trailer so it forms a downward slope.
I'm glad others are finding my post beneficial, but I have to make it clear that my ideas came from other posts on RV.Net. We are all sharing ideas and help each other, thus the real benefits of the site.

Nice job ! I too printed out Pritch272's pictures last year...time to get goin' I guess. 
One question though...what is the larger tube for...your carpet ?

Yes it is. 8'X 14' I/O carpet
Thats stainless aircraft cable holding tube in place.

I have an 8" X 6' PVC pipe in the back of the truck as of last year. I slide our carpet piece in there until I can figure how to fasten the pipe to the undercarriage of the TT. Where did you get the cables ?
