Cheers To The Beverage Brat
Because cup holders in your RV may not fit all your drinking needs, Dr. Warren Ruhnau, a 65-year-old dentist, created Beverage BRATs (Boats, RVs, Autos and Trucks), an innovative, new accessory for all RVers who like to have their favorite drink within arm's reach while driving. The new device slips into your current holder and adjusts to fit all sorts of container shapes, including sport bottles and mugs.
The Beverage BRAT comes with a terry cloth sleeve to prevent beverages from sweating as well as insulating hot and cold drinks. The cloth can also be used to help steady smaller containers. In addition, an adapter ring cap may be used to hold smaller cups, glasses and Styrofoam cups in place. It's called a BRAT because it'll spoil you, Ruhnau said, and because of its ability to be used in several types of vehicles.
For more information on the Beverage BRAT or to place an order, contact G & W Manufacturing at 9838 Old Baymeadows Rd., Box 310, Jacksonville, FL 32256; 904/928-9330.
Cover-Up Of The Year
Camping with pets? Well, dogs are surely cute and lovable, but these also tend to have a habit of ruining car and RV upholstery.
So what can you do? Well keep the dog - of course, but invest in a seat cover, such as Sport Seat Shields, to protect your upholstery from spills and messes. Sport Seat Shields, which fit most bucket seats, are comfortable and good looking, so you can leave them on all the time.
Made of machine-washable heavy duty nylon, the covers prevent sand, grit and grime from penetrating through to the seat. A strong, double-stitched elastic edge holds the Sport Seat Shield securely in place so it never slips and slides. Unlike terrycloth seat covers that let stains sink right into your car upholstery or vinyl covers that are hot and sticky, Sport Seat Shields are stain and water resistant and are comfortable all year round.
The covers are available in auto supply stores throughout the United States. For a list of stores in your area or for additional product information, contact Grant Products at 700 Allen Ave., Glendale, CA 91201.
Eliminate nasty RV odors
Got nasty odors in your car or RV? It's time to get down to business and wipe away those irritating aromas.
Airsept Odor Treatment quickly and permanently eliminates unwanted odor caused by tobacco, body odor, pets, food, beverage spills, mold, mildew and much more.
Perfume products mask foul odors but Airsept actually removes them so they won't resurface in a few days. It hits the odor source and inhibits bacteria and mold from forming. The bacterial growth is what causes unwanted odors and allergic reactions.
The Airsept formula surrounds the organic molecules and keeps them from smelling while it breaks them down into a non-offensive form. Originally designed to clean odors out of automobiles, Airsept technology is now applied to combat even potent odor sources like sewage systems.

Sing along with Ina T. & the Arvees
Ready for some knee-slappin, toe-tappin' crazy RV-themed music? If so, Ina T. and the Arvess has a tape for you!
Ina T. Karish sings the praises of the joys that can be found while RVing. She began writing RV songs soon after a rally in California, and the root of her songs comes from her own adventures. Her motto is, "If you can live it, sing it!"
Anyone who has ever tried to level his RV on a rustic site, "flown" South for the winter in an RV or checked the tires with a tire bat wondering if the "thump" sounded right, will love these songs. (It's a good way to get "in the know" about the RV lifestyle as well!)

Get Warm And Toasty With The Family
Want to fire up with your family and friends without the sparks, smoke or sizzle of real logs? New Frontier Campsites has created a hassle-free campfire that . It is charming, realistic, portable and easy to use with no smoke, no sparks and no mess. It is rain- and wind-resistant and can even be used under your awning. When hot, the gas logs and ash embers glow realistically, creating a cozy, relaxed atmosphere.
Although it is possible to cook such items as hot dogs over the fire, "it is more for the ambiance," Alan Houseman, co-creator of the campfire, said. He said grills and greasy foods should not be cooked over the fire because grease can drip down, damaging the special ash bed made of natural materials.
Also, because of its natural insulator ash bed, the fire can be used on your lawn or pool deck, at the park or at the beach.
Built with heavy gauge steel, the 27,000 BTU, 18-inch diameter portable unit comes fully assembled. The eight artificial logs are lightweight and may be arranged to suit your taste. A standard 20-pound LP tank will burn this campfire for approximately 18 hours. It comes with a five-foot UL-approved hose and regulator (you may upgrade to a 12-foot hose). The total weight of the unit is 37 pounds.
