All About Woodall's
Woodall’s has been providing information about
RVing and family camping for over 70 years. In 1935, Karl Hale Dixon founded the company with Trailer Travel magazine. Within a few months he
realized people needed to know where they could camp and so started a directory of camping locations.
At that time, there were as many as 102 "trailerites" wandering North America verifying the existence of
parks. That verification has turned into the Woodall 1
 - 5
Rating System. From those beginnings, we've
developed into a company with 12 different Campground directories, an RV Buyer's Guide,
two regional RV/camping newspapers, Campground Management which is a trade publication for RV parks and campgrounds, plus books on RV repairs, maintenance and
